Deputy Manager Cyber Security — 1 post, equivalent to BPS-17, age up to 45 years.
Deputy Manager IT / Database Administration / MIS / Infrastructure & Application Testing — Multiple posts across these specialisations, also at BPS-17 equivalent.
The qualification requirement for these posts is 16 years of education or a Master’s degree in IT, Computer Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or Information Security from an HEC-recognized university with at least 60% marks, and 5 to 10 years of relevant IT experience depending on the post level.

Then the very next day, LESCO published another advertisement on May 22, 2026 in Daily Jang, again covering Human Resources, Technical, paid internship programme, Customer Services, IT, Admin, Finance, and Operations Directorates — with a closing date of around June 6, 2026.
Candidates with Bachelor, MS, MBA, and Master’s degrees are preferred for these positions.
This round is broader. It’s covering operational and management roles across virtually every department LESCO runs. If you have a relevant degree — whether that’s in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, IT, HR, or even a strong Bachelor’s in a related field — there’s likely a position in this round worth checking.
The application deadline for the Nawaiwaqt batch is June 5, 2026. The Jang batch closes around June 6, 2026. Check the official advertisement carefully for your specific position.
The LESCO Paid Internship 2026 — This One’s Different
Here’s what I think a lot of fresh students are sleeping on.
LESCO’s latest Paid Internship Programme has been announced for final year students, offering positions in Operations/Technical, Finance, Human Resources/Admin, and Information Technology/Customer Services.
The internship duration is 2 months and offers a monthly stipend of Rs. 30,000 for final-year Engineering, IT, HR, Finance, and Marketing students from HEC-recognised universities. The application deadline is June 15, 2026.
Rs. 30,000 a month for two months at a utility company the size of LESCO is not nothing. More importantly, this is the kind of experience that puts a recognisable name on your CV before you’ve even graduated. Employers — government and private — take LESCO internship experience seriously because the operations environment is genuinely complex.
For Engineering interns, candidates must have completed at least 6 semesters at an HEC-accredited university, with final-year students preferred and a CGPA of 2.5/4.0 or 60% marks in the annual system. For Management, IT, and Finance interns, candidates must have a completed Bachelor’s degree or be enrolled in their final year. The maximum age for internship applicants is 28 years.
The domicile requirement is Punjab — specifically the LESCO districts of Lahore, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Nankana Sahib, and Okara. Out-of-province candidates are not eligible unless they hold a valid Punjab domicile.

- CNIC (both sides)

If your family moved to Lahore years ago but your domicile certificate still shows Multan or Gujranwala, this matters. The domicile requirement is enforced, not decorative. Sort out your documentation before applying, not after.
Mistakes That Get Applications Rejected
